Step1: Installation

  1. Download the ZIP package from Codecanyon and Unzip it.
  2. Within the unzipped folder you will see a file named smartadv_v1.0.zip - this is the Plugin itself.
  3. Log into your Wordpress Dashboard and click on Plugins.
  4. Next click on Install Themes then click on Upload.
  5. Click Add new -> Upload -> Browse then locate the file named smartadv_v1.0.zip and click Install Now.
  6. After the theme has installed click on Activate Plugin and you are all set! New Multiverso Plugin is now installed!

Step 2: Settings

  1. SmartADV allows to set global settings for your ADV
  2. SmartADV -> Settings -> Tooltips

    You can choose to set Global options for all posts or pages.
  3. You can select styling for all Tooltips, add a CSS3 Rounded Border or add a CSS3 Shadow

  4. SmartADV -> Settings -> Popups

    You can choose to set Global options for all posts or pages.
  5. You can set the Popup expiration time
  6. You can select the Popup animation:

    Fade, Fade and Pop or None
  7. You can set the Popup entry speed
  8. Selecting the source, you can choose the way in which Popups are displayed on a page:

    Key Density, Random ADV from all, Random ADV from Category or Specific ADV

    • If you choose Key Density mode, will appear the Popup attached at the Key (word) more present on the post
    • If you choose Random ADV from all mode, will appear a random Popup
    • If you choose Random ADV from category mode, will appear a random Popup from a specific ADV category

Step 3: Add ADV

  1. SmartADV -> Add New


    Here you can set your ADV post type

    You can set your ADV name and your ADV content
  2. You can select ADV Type:

    HTML content, Text content, Custom Code or Media Image



    If you choose html content mode, you can use visual and standard wordpress text area.

    If you choose simple text content mode, you can't use html tags

    If you choose media image mode, you can upload your image from wordpress library or by external url



    If you choose custom code mode, you can paste iframe code, embed code, object code or javascript code
    Eg. you can paste your youtube embed code, vimeo embed code or soundcloud embed code

  3. You can control your ADV and decide if you want display it like a Tooltip, like a Popup or both.

    You can enable or disable these options
  4. You can add a category on own adv

    The categories are useful to filter Popups on posts
  5. KEYS

    Keys work like tags, but their are associated at the words inside posts.

    You can add multiple keys for each ADV
    You can attach also keys (words) contained on multiple pages concurrently

    every time a key is present in a post or page, the Popup or Tooltip associated will appear.

    The way which Popup appears, depends from popups' source


  6. SmartADV -> All Advertises

    In this tab, you can control all your adv: category, keys and whether your adv is set like Tooltip, Popup or both


Step 4: Set ADV inside posts

  1. Pages -> Add New

    When you create a new page or new post Posts -> Add New,
    you can decide whether to show Tooltips, Popups or both in this one.
  2. You can choose to select global options, choose ON to manage your ADV directly on post, or OFF to turn off the ADV.
  3. If you set global options, banners will inherit the options of global settings ( SmartADV -> Settings )
  4. If you turn on ON, you can manage your adv here.

    TOOLTIPS

    • Styling - You can choose between 13 css styles, add CSS3 Rounded Border or add CSS3 Sahdow ( view step 2 )




    POPUPS

    • You can set expiration time, animation and entry speed
    • You can set source: Key Density, Randm ADV from all, Random from category ( view step 2 ) and Specific ADV

      If you select Specific ADV, you can select a specific Popup already created to display in this post




Step 5: Add Shortcodes

  1. Pages -> Add New -> select Add Tooltip


  2. Shortcodes Tooltip Generator allows to create an ADV in a very short time

    • You can select the content from an ADV content already created
    • You can select the styling
    • You can add CC3 Rounded Border and CSS3 Shadow
    • You can add your keywords separated by comma
      • When you have finished click on Insert Tooltip
      The Shortocodes will generate a code in your post


Step 6: Advanced Options

  1. SmartADV -> Settings -> Utility

    You can edit default style css for your Adv
  2. You can clean Cookies to reset your ADV expiration time
